Not long ago, beauty and health services were once exclusive and expensive amenities in US hotels. However, in a growing number of resorts, urban and even business hotels, such amenities are increasingly being widely offered as basic services.
Lavishing oneself in a variety of spa therapies is not only good for a client’s sense of wellness, they’re also well-deserved indulgences. At various destination hotels around the world, endermologie® treatments and a wide range of additional beauty and wellness treatments have been offered as a matter of course for decades.
In France, the birthplace of endermologie, a number of world-class resort hotels are destinations for those interested in relaxing, beneficial face and body treatments. The Les Celestins Vichy Spa Hotel in Vichy, Four Seasons Terre Blanche in Provence, and La Reserve de Beaulieu & Spa on the Cote d’Azur are renowned for their endermologie and other services.
CURRENT U.S. RESORT SERVICES
Many luxury resorts and hotels offer local residents the option of spa membership, which is the perfect market for an ambitious endermologie professional wishing to create a new revenue stream. Being able to offer exclusive endermologie services at one or more local destination hotels will not only distinguish a businesses’ brand, it will introduce the endermologie experience to a wider range of clients.
Well-known resorts, such as, The James Chicago, Casa Moderna Miami Hotel & Spa, and Terranea Resort in Rancho Palo Verdes, CA. These and other resorts typically offer healthy eating, fitness workouts, saunas, steam rooms, massages and skin-care treatments.
Most full face or body endermologie programs require a series of at least 12 treatments, usually spaced over about two months. The fact that most destination hotels are booked by short-term guests – usually for a week to 10 days – naturally affects such treatment programs.
However, many short-term hotel guests may be interested in undergoing several 15-minute “flash” face endermologie treatments during their stay, which will certainly boost circulation and add a healthy glow to the skin. Some also resorts offer special overnight retreat/wellness packages to local community members.
ENDERMOLOGIE IN RESORTS
For many people, the traditional vacation is being redefined as more and more resorts are offering an array of beauty and health services. The original immersion spa concept may have started in 1940 at Rancho La Puerta in Baja, California, but introducing endermologie treatments to U.S. resorts will expand that standard of excellence.
